L.H. Thomson Company, INC. was founded in 1981 by Loronzo H. “Ronnie” Thomson with a vision to produce the finest precision CNC machined aerospace parts proudly manufactured in Macon, Georgia, USA.

In the mid-90s, Ronnie Thomson lent his engineering expertise to a pet project, developing a groundbreaking one-piece bicycle seatpost for his daughter, who was competing in a college MTB race at the time. Thomson developed and patented the perfect bicycle component – the Thomson Elite seatpost – setting a new standard by utilizing aerospace technology.The Thomson Elite became the inspiration for what would later become the Masterpiece seatpost, followed by a collection of precision stems and seatpost collars co-developed by the next generation of Thomson, Ronnie’s son Brian.

Today, Thomson offers a full line of CNC precision machined components, industry leading seatposts, state of the art carbon fiber handlebars, stems, titanium parts and bicycle frames.
