Our philosophy is pretty simple: we build bikes that we want to ride ourselves.
And since Yeti Cycles was founded in 1985, our approach hasn’t changed.
BUILD IT, TEST IT, RIDE IT.
REPEAT.
Our athletes, mechanics and employees are crucial to our development process.
We all have a different focus and bring a different perspective to what we expect from our bikes on the trails.
Mechanics often see things that engineers don’t.
Professional athletes notice subtleties that only experienced mountain bikers can feel.
It is precisely this mix and the balance of opinions that is crucial for our product development.
Some ideas that have emerged from this process are big.
Others are just small changes in detail.
However, the sum of these ideas is what makes our bikes so special.
And in the end, no bike goes into production until the test riders have approved the design.
Our philosophy is pretty simple: we build bikes that we want to ride ourselves.
And since Yeti Cycles was founded in 1985, our approach hasn’t changed.
