The perfect balance of stiffness and flex can be found in our carbon handlebars with 35mm clamping.
The pleasant compliance prevents fatigue and results in less arm pump, which leads to more control on the bike, especially on long descents. The aluminum sleeve protects the individual carbon fibers from constriction and makes mounting the handlebars with our One Piece Stem child’s play.
Due to the optimally placed scaling, the handlebars can be adjusted precisely and easily.
Like our stem, the carbon handlebar is DH-level-tested.
The handlebar comes in a width of 800 mm, but can be shortened to 740 mm with a simple hacksaw thanks to integrated scaling.
You can choose between 20 and 35 mm rise and thus have all options open to set your ideal stack height.
By the way, the handlebars are only approved for use with our one-piece stems due to the taper in the sleeve, but the two also simply form a perfect pair. May only be mounted with our 77designz One Piece Stem: The handlebar and the One Piece Stem have been designed, engineered and tested as a unit.
Therefore, the handlebars must only be used together with our unique and super light 1-piece stem.
You may not see it, but the sleeve is tapered in the middle to make it easier to insert into the stem.
However, it is precisely this detail that prohibits its use with other stems.
