With the Barmate aluminum, the focus was clearly on compatibility and stability.

Even the widest direct-mount stems known to us pose no problem for the 85mm clamping width of the Barmate aluminum.

Thanks to the careful selection of high-quality, constancy-intensive materials and elaborate heat treatment, the Barmate aluminum achieves the safety reserves certified by the German test institute EFBE with an impressive weight of only 325g.

Developed for demanding riders who are looking for a stable aluminum handlebar for the toughest trails in the world.

Of course, all our handlebars are compatible with our BikeYoke Barkeeper stem.

There are two finishes to choose from.

Black on black:
The finished butted and curved handlebars are first brushed by hand. The logos and markings are then lasered on, and only then is the entire handlebar anodized black. This creates an elegant but unobtrusive finish.

Silver / black:
The finished butted and curved handlebars are first brushed by hand. The handlebars are then anodized silver. The handlebars are then taped on one side and anodized black on the other. Only then are logos applied and lasered on. The result is an unmistakable and eye-catching silver/black finish that is second to none.

STACK & REACH

For the handlebar geometry, we have dispensed with the “rise” specification and introduced the more meaningful “stack” as a reference dimension for the handlebar height.

More convenient and faster

In addition, we provide a “Reach” value, which provides information on how much the handlebar moves the hands backwards and thus influences the effective stem length.

All handlebars have this reach, but it is not specified.

Both values refer to the neutral or design orientation of the handlebar.
The aim is to make handlebars of different brands directly comparable and to make changes to the cockpit more comprehensible.

SUITABLE FOR DH AND ENDURO

The Tri-Test of the German test institute EFBE confirms that the Barmate Aluminum can be used without restriction on enduro and downhill bikes.

The clamping range of the stem is 85mm and is suitable for even the widest direct mount stems.
