Arch Against | The 34 SL fork crown, optimized by FOX engineers, encases the lower part of the fork and contributes to a 17% increase in torsional stiffness compared to the previous XC fork, the 34 Step-Cast. Cutouts in strategic locations help minimize weight.
Lower Leg Bypass Channels | As the fork compresses, air pressure increases, which can prevent the fork from reaching its full travel. Channels in the lower legs solve this problem by significantly increasing the air volume. This not only reduces the occurrence of unwanted pressure spikes, but also allows the oil to circulate all the way to the upper sections of the stanchions, ensuring that the internal seals and bushings remain lubricated at all times.
