The DEORE M6100 brakes are available in two versions – with an XC-specific two-piston brake calliper or with a four-piston brake calliper for trail/enduro use. Both versions share the same revised brake lever, whose design with additional support on the handlebars ensures a stiffer construction and therefore better controllability and higher braking power. The brake levers are also equipped with SHIMANO’s proven SERVO WAVE technology, which quickly guides the pads close to the rotors in the first part of the lever travel and provides plenty of lever travel in the second part for the actual, powerful and easily controllable braking process.
