The X01 Eagle rear derailleur was specially developed for the 12-speed transmission of the X01 Eagle groupset and offers some innovative functions. The number of teeth on the lower derailleur pulley has been increased to 14 teeth, which ensures even smoother and lower-resistance chain running. The optimized Type 3.0 cage damping effectively prevents chain slap on uneven terrain and thus contributes to an even smoother riding experience. A newly designed suspension on the frame increases the robustness and durability of the rear derailleur. As with the XX1 rear derailleur, the extremely high tension of the rear derailleur cage is retained and the X-Sync derailleur pulleys, which are matched to the chain, reliably prevent the chain from jumping off even without a chain guide. Thanks to a new geometry, the X01 Eagle rear derailleur is compatible with SRAM Eagle cassettes with up to 52 teeth.
