The V2 of our legendary 77designz CRASH PLATE is milled from extremely stable 7075 T6 aluminium and offers your chainring, whether round or oval, the necessary protection in case of ground contact (for oval simply plus 2 teeth). With 7 different colours and 4 different sizes, you should find the right variant for your bike. Compared to the V1, we have optimized the alignment and the Taco now also fits Santa Cruz carbon frames thanks to a slotted hole. It is not necessary to remove the crank to install the Crash Plate, so the installation is very easy and done in a few minutes. The minimal overlap of the Taco Bashguard offers optimum ground clearance and best protection for your chainring without applying thick. The Crash Plate can be combined with our ISCG 05 chain guides by the way problem-free all it needs is the connector.
