Our philosophy is pretty simple. We build mountain bikes that we want to ride ourselves. Since YETI Cycles was founded in 1985, our approach has not changed. Our ride-focused mindset has simplified the entire process and allowed us to realize the best ideas, unhindered by egos or successes. Mechanics often see things that engineers don't. Pro riders notice things that only experienced mountain bikers see. All of these things are relevant to us. Some ideas that have come out of these processes are big, others are just small changes in detail. However, the sum of these ideas is considerable and defines our mountain bikes when you go with it on the trails.
