Description
The new Tech 4 V4 is based on our more than 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of hydraulic braking systems. The Tech 4 uses an all-new internal seal for reduced friction and the pivot spins on roller bearings, allowing the spring rate to be reduced. The lower spring rate, in turn, results in lighter leverage, reducing rider fatigue and retaining our legendary feel and modulation. The updated E4 caliper uses hybrid stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert that allows for smoother movement and less maintenance, while being able to handle high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use.
