Going full enduro...with carbon? Driven by the success of our aluminum rims in enduro use, we have developed a 30mm carbon rim. The result of this project is an industry leading weight to durability ratio. As it turned out in the course of practical tests, the new NEWMEN Advanced SL A.30 is even stable enough for our EWS riders. Equipped with our new hub technology with extremely quiet Fade freewheel, this results not only in a particularly light and agile, but also a very quiet wheelset. Possibly the new benchmark in the enduro sector.
Lower weight than our Evolution (aluminum) SL A.30 rims with increased stability compared to our Evolution SL E.G.30 rims. High wall thicknesses around the entire rim profile in combination with a special fiber alignment at the rim flange, provide in combination with 30mm inner width for the perfect trail and enduro rim. The relatively low profile height of 20mm in combination with flexible Sapim D-Light spokes allows the same grip and ride comfort as our aluminium wheelsets. In addition, there is the advantage of better durability at lower weight. While with an aluminum rim in hard use, minor dents and compressions or external influences on the spokes can very slowly fatigue and wear the rim, the Advanced SL A.30 rim convinces even after many thousands of deep meters on the enduro bike still by perfect concentricity. In addition, the probability of so-called pinch flats is significantly reduced when using tubeless by the 3.5mm wide rim flanges.
All new Advanced SL and Evolution SL wheels are based on our new NEWMEN Evolution SL hubs with FADE freewheel. This is so reliable and stable that we approve all FADE hubs for e-bikes without restrictions. At the same time, the noise level has been reduced to a minimum thanks to an optimized geometry of the components. Besides the pleasant feeling of riding a quiet bike, there are even practical advantages: The tire grip can be literally heard in curves as a result, creating a completely new riding experience. In mass start races, such as marathons, you also don't draw the attention of the rider in front unnecessarily. The hubs have double sealed ball bearings with particularly low tolerances and special grease filling to allow maximum durability.
We grant a lifetime No-Questions-Asked 50% Crash Replacement on all carbon rims - of course also for second or third owners.
