Many protect their seat tube from too much penetrating dirt and mud by means of a piece of old hose, which they cut to size and then wrap with cable ties around support and seat tube and fix. It makes sense in any case, because at the saddle clamp and clamping slot quickly collects mud and dirt in bad weather, which slips at the next opportunity into the seat tube and there can provide annoying creaking and scratched seatposts.
Please note:
The appearance of the Willy put over depends on the saddle clamp used!
Our Willy is very good and durable stretch within certain limits. However, there are also a few really too big saddle clamps with partly long or protruding screw heads, angular shapes, which can damage the Willy in the long run, because it is partially stretched too much. Therefore, we would like to point out that we can not guarantee that our Willy works well with all saddle clamps permanently.
