Description
The play machine for the fine dirt
The 5010 turns obstacles into challenges. With its agile, light-footed character, it brings fun to any trail. No matter if simple or angular. Every wave is jumped and every curve is scratched. And suddenly everything becomes child's play.
The bike can do more than the specs suggest. A 140mm suspension fork at the front accompanies the Lowerlink-VPP rear end, whose 130mm of travel feels like a lot more. And if you want to get the last out of the rear end, you can mount any shock you like.
The bike can do a lot. The relatively flat steering angle and the relatively low bottom bracket make the bike light-footed and easy to control. It rides confidently and reliably, but the short chainstays keep it agile and ready to jump at any time.
No matter how much kid you are, the bike will grow with your needs. The geometry is adapted size-dependently, the chainstay lengths grow with the frame size. And thanks to the super-low standover height, it (almost) feels like the BMX from your childhood. Maybe that sounds a little too nostalgic, but the 5010 is the perfect introduction to the big, fun mountain bike world for us.
