Santa Cruz Bullit Carbon CC S-Kit | Modell 2022
Up with the downhill performanceThe Bullit was built for the longest and most demanding trails. For roots, rocks, jumps and steep descents that you want to meet with plenty of suspension travel. For trails that were previously reserved for Nomad and Megatower pilots. With the support of the Shimano STEPS system, we now cycle a few steeps further and together reach new challenges beyond the cable cars and shuttle roads. While the Heckler focuses on agility and playfulness, the Bullit is a bike for the rough. 170mm travel, 38er fork and DoubleDown tires stand for downhill performance without compromise. With more travel and more aggressive geometry, the Bullit aims for more action and wilder trails compared to the Heckler. It was the successes of downhill champion Loris Vergier, who opened our eyes to the MX concept in the development of the Bullit with his 27.5 "rear wheel. Loris' first goal, to get more freedom of movement over the rear wheel in steep descents, is just one advantage of the MX setup. He and we found that this kept the 29er front wheel's aplomb and greed for speed, while gaining agility and improved controllability. It also allows more leeway in chainstay length as it evolves - for the right balance of handling and climbing ability, which is especially relevant on an e-bike.The wilder trails are usually way up the mountain. The Shimano STEPS EP8 motor is lighter than its predecessor, has more power (85Nm instead of 75Nm), less installation space (-10%), less friction (-50%), higher heat resistance, more power in trail mode and improved efficiency. So together with Shimano's most powerful battery (630Wh), the Bullit offers more performance and range for more, longer and rougher trails.THE NEW SHIMANO EP8 MOTORThe new Shimano EP8 motor is lighter, stronger and more efficient. This makes it an even better choice for long and hard touring.technical details:Santa Cruz CC Carbon frameShimano Drive Unit EP800Shimano 630Wh Integrated148mm Rear Axle Spacing Boost170mm VPP™ suspension traveldesigned for 160mm / 170mm e-suspension forksMX: Front 29" / Rear 27.5" Double sealed bearings for high durabilityInternal cable routing for Vario brace (Stealth compatible)Internal rear brake lineSizes: M, L, XL, XXLEquipment S KitFrame: Carbon CC 170mm Travel VPP™Shock: RockShox Super Deluxe Select+Fork: FOX 38 Float Performance E-Tune, 170mm, 29"Rear derailleur: SRAM GX Eagle, 12spdShift lever: SRAM GX Eagle, 12spdCassette: SRAM XG1275 Eagle, 12spd, 10-50tChain: SRAM GX Eagle, 12spdChain guide: E13 E-Spec+ ALHeadset: Cane Creek 40 IS Integrated HeadsetFront tire: Maxxis Assegai 29 "x2.5", 3C, MaxxGRIP, Double Down, TRRear tire: Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5 "x2.4, 3C, DoubleDown, EXO, TRHub: E13 SL, 15x110, 6 bolt, 32h / E13 SL E-Spec, 12x148, XD, 32hRims: RaceFace ARC HD 30 (29" F, 27.5" R).Spokes: DT Swiss CompetitionBrake discs: Avid Centerline 220mm/200mmBrakes: SRAM Code RCrank: Shimano EM600 Crank Arms, 165mmHandlebar: Santa Cruz e35 Carbon Bar, 800mm, 35mm RiseStem: Burgtec Enduro MK3 42mmSaddle: WTB Silverado Medium Cromoly SL Fusion Saddle or WTB VolSeatpost:SDG Tellis Dropper, 31.6Grips: Santa Cruz Palmdale GripsBattery: Shimano 630Wh IntegratedDrive Unit: Shimano Drive Unit DU-EP800Display: Shimano Display Device SC-E7000Remote: Shimano Unit SC-E7000Charger: Shimano Battery ChargerNote on the return of batteries and rechargeable batteries can be found here.*a new window will open, you will be redirected to the Santa Cruz page | fig. shows assembly example
